More Detail:

THE CASE FOR MIRACLES is a companion documentary to Lee Strobel’s hit book of the same name. In the documentary, Strobel and director Mani Sandoval head out on a road trip, discussing the science, and faith, behind miracles.

In THE CASE FOR MIRACLES, Lee Strobel shares some of the stories and research behind his popular book, “The Case For Miracles: A Journalist Investigates Evidence for the Supernatural.” Strobel, a professional journalist, shares his history of religious skepticism, while director and road trip companion, Mani Sandoval, talks about his family’s faith.

Strobel shares many stories of miracles, including one about a woman named Barbara who was diagnosed with MS. After people in their community began praying for her, she eventually fully recovered from the disease. Another story follows a couple whose baby passes away. After they pray with a neighbor, a hospital worker overhears crying from the morgue – the baby was alive!

Interspersed between these stories are accounts from experts about scientific studies into miracles and the power of prayer, as well as the miracle that had to occur in tandem with elements of our universe to create life.
