HOUSE OF DAVID star Michael Iskander announced his partnership with the Hallow prayer app to help listeners find peace this advent season through a deep dive into the hymn “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.
“Hey everyone, Michael Iskander here, and I’m in this beautiful park with these beautiful birds because I’m trying to find a little bit of peace and stillness. And I know this season can be very chaotic for so many people, and so I just wanted to invite you to join me in a little prayer and try to find a little peace this Christmas on Hallow,” Iskander said on Dec. 17. “Starting today, I’ll be starting the ‘O Come, O Come Emmanuel’ prayer challenge alongside Grammy award-winning artist Lauren Daigle and actor Mario Lopez. They’re so phenomenal, and it’s really just gonna be an incredible way to find a little bit of peace through music and prayer.”
“So we’ll be diving into the hymn ‘O Come, O Come Emmanuel,’ and you’ll even get to hear me sing it,” the actor continued. “So, go download Hallow and maybe experience a little bit of peace this Christmas.”

Lopez previously shared his involvement with the project, inviting his fans to discover the true meaning of Christmas through the famous hymn. His partnership with Hallow comes after an increased focus on his faith in recent years.
“Hey guys, Christmas is almost here, of course, and it’s truly the most amazing time of the year, but it also has so much going on; shopping, traveling, decorating. It can become a little stressful. That’s why I’m excited to share that I’m teaming up with the Hallow app for their new Prayer Challenge called ‘O Come, O Come Emmanuel,’” Lopez announced. “It’s all focused on helping you get ready for Christmas, and I don’t mean by helping you shop, plan a party, or bake cookies. I mean helping you rediscover the true meaning of the season: Jesus Christ.”
The “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” prayer challenge is one of multiple programs Hallow is running this holiday season to connect fans with the Lord. Gwen Stefani and Chris Pratt also shared their individual involvements with the app to help listeners find peace this Christmas and connect with the Lord.
“The real reason I love Christmas is it’s so much more important. It’s because we are celebrating the greatest gift God has ever given us, and that is His Son, Jesus Christ,” Pratt said at the start of December. “I would love for you to join me and millions of other Christians around the world praying this year on Hallow. Together, we can focus on what’s important about this extraordinary season.”
It is amazing to see so many celebrities partner with Hallow this holiday season to help their fans connect with the Lord and focus on the true meaning of Christmas, rather than getting caught up in the busyness of the end of the year.
