More Detail:
JACKASS: BEST AND LAST is a mix of new and old, unseen footage of a group of comical stunt performers who’ve been filming crazy and extreme stunts for 25 years and includes much more of the same, but many of the stunts this time involve graphic, extreme physical abuse of the various stuntmen’s private parts. Containing a few genuine laughs, such as a rattlesnake prank, JACKASS: BEST AND LAST is extremely graphic, gross and abhorrent, with constant foul language, many close-ups of naked male private parts and frequent, extreme slapstick violence that often veers into overt sadomasochism.
Billed as the last JACKASS movie, BEST AND LAST starts with an old but unseen stunt on the MTV program of JACKASS where Johnny Knoxvlle puts on a bullet proof vest and some magazines, then shoots himself in the chest with a gun. The movie then proceeds to film some new stunts and some unseen footage from old stunts. One of the new stunts has a robot giving a proctology exam to one of the men. The stunts include numerous punches, groin hits and previous footage from Knoxville being knocked around by a charging bull. As a result of that stunt, Knoxville couldn’t do any new stunts in the new movie that giving him another concussion.
Besides electric shocks and physical violence, the stunts include three or four “games” involving gross images of human feces. For example, several of the men dressed in swim trunks or underwear drink some powerful laxatives before engaging in a game of Twister.
JACKASS: BEST AND LAST has a few genuinely funny moments, such as when a robot makes a funny comment or when one of the guys jokes he’s not sad this is their last movie, saying sarcastically, “I’m not in touch with my emotions.” Otherwise, though, the movie’s extremely graphic, gross and abhorrent. It has constant foul language, many close-ups of naked male private parts and frequent, extreme slapstick violence that often veers into overt sadomasochism.
