Prime Video’s BEAST GAMES has set a new record for the streaming service, racking up 50 million views in its first 25 days.
Deadline reported that Amazon says this figure makes it “the second most-watched and second most acquisitive” 2024 series, coming second to FALLOUT.
The streamer also revealed that BEAST GAMES is doing well internationally, with “more than half” of viewers coming from countries like India, the UK and Mexico.
BEAST GAMES is a reality competition show, hosted by YouTube personality MrBeast — real name: Jimmy Donaldson. One thousand contestants competed in a series of challenges for the chance to win $5 million — the biggest cash prize in TV history.
The YouTuber was reportedly paid $100 million for the show and given full creative control by Amazon.
Donaldson celebrated the 50 million mark on X, writing, “One of my biggest goals with this show was to open doors for other creators and show we can make hit shows.”

According to the BBC, who obtained the court documents, contestants were “underfed and overtired,” as meals were given “sporadically and sparsely,” which “endangered the health and welfare” of the contestants.
They also allege contestants were penned into small areas and competed on dangerous sets. All the claimants are asking for an unnamed sum to cover “unpaid wages.”
Donaldson has not publicly commented on the allegations, but a spokesperson addressed rumors of poor treatment on the BEAST GAMES set in August 2024, saying things were “unfortunately complicated” by “extreme weather, and other unexpected logistical and communications issues.”
