Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey’s best season ever just keeps getting better.

He started in all 25 games so far for the Pistons and averages 17 points a game.

On Saturday’s overtime win against the New York Knicks, Ivey “notched 16 points (6-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 29 minutes,” CBS Sports reported.

As Ivey continues to improve, he also continues to give the glory to God.

“Don’t forget who you do it for! In whatever you do…Do it for the one who shed his blood for you! He loves you.. And gave his life so that you may have life. Thank you, Jesus,” Ivey said in an Instagram post.

He also included Colossians 3:23: “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.”

Several followers commented their praises to Ivey for his faith.

“Amen fam. This scripture and this mindset changes a person’s entire life when applied,” influencer Dee-1 wrote. “With God anything is impossible! Keep going,” another follower said.

Ivey often shares his faith on his social media platforms.

In one post, he wrote, “I’m blessed and I’m chosen. I’m prepped and I’m focused. And God has a plan for me. Luke 12:31.”

In another press conference at the end of last season, Ivey talked about his faith and referenced John 14:6.

“I just want to say that Jesus is the way, the truth, the life,” Ivey said. “To anyone in the world that’s hearing this message, the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Jesus is coming back, and we all have to repent for our sins and we have to put our faith in Jesus. He will come back when you least expect it, and it’s time to wake up if you haven’t put your faith in Jesus Christ.”
