Prime Video greenlit REACHER, the hit drama starring Alan Ritchson, for a fourth season, and fans finally got some details about what they can expect.

Based on Lee Child’s book Gone Tomorrow, the logline reads, “When a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a train goes horribly wrong, Jack Reacher is drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power.”

Ritchson celebrated the renewal on Instagram.

“‘The thing about subway cars is you step on one and you never know what’s going to happen.’ REACHER Season 4 will be based on ‘Gone Tomorrow’ by Lee Child,” he wrote alongside a photo of him holding the book and the number 4.

Fans in the comment section expressed their excitement.

“Give me as many Reacher seasons as you can man. I love this show so much,” one user said. Another person added, “Congratz! Will watch for sure 🔥🔥”

Eight new cast members have joined the show, including include Jay Baruchel as Jacob Merrick, Sydelle Noel as Tamara Green, Anggun as Amisha Hoth, Agnez Mo as Lila Hoth, Kevin Weisman as Russell Plum, Kevin Corrigan as Detective Docherty, Marc Blucas as John Samson and Kathleen Robertson as Elsbeth Samson.

Movieguide®’s review of REACHER Season 3 reads, “The first episode of REACHER: Season Three is extremely engaging and exciting. It sets up the season well as Reacher places himself in extreme jeopardy to complete his mission. The stakes will be extremely high as any small mistake could compromise Reacher’s position within villain’s network, getting him killed.”

Movieguide® celebrates that REACHER “promotes strong moral values such as fighting against evil, pursuing justice and protecting the weak. However, “the one-hour episode has nearly 30 obscenities and profanities, including nine ‘f’ words and one strong profanity.”

The new season is set to release sometime in 2026, with production set to begin this month.

“REACHER has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season,” said Vernon Sanders, Head of television at Amazon MGM Studios. “We are looking forward to more action and adventure from the immensely talented team behind the series including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance and CBS Studios.”

REACHER fans can also keep a lookout for the spinoff series, NEAGLEY, which will see Maria Sten return to her role as Frances Neagley.

There’s certainly plenty for REACHER fans to get excited about.
