Big changes are coming to THE VOICE! Season 29 of hit singing competition show will feature new guests and an all-new format.

NBC said the “landmark season will be infused with fast-paced, competitive elements, delivering a fresh twist on the format that raises the stakes for coaches and artists alike.”

PEOPLE reported the new season, called THE VOICE: BATTLE OF CHAMPIONS, will come out on Feb. 23 on NBC with a special two-hour premiere episode. Two more episodes will follow in the first week, on Feb. 25 and 26, each two hours long.

New episodes will be available every Monday and Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET, Good Housekeeping reported. Episodes will also be available to stream on Peacock.

Each stage of the competition introduces a new element, NBC shared.

Judges Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend will return, but there will not be a fourth coach.

NBC called the trio “powerhouse coaches who form the only panel in the show’s history comprised entirely of VOICE winners.”

In addition to the removal of a fourth judge, the new format has each coach 10 artists on their teams. The competition will also have four rounds.

For the Blind Auditions, the coaches will compete in a Triple Turn Competition, where they will try to earn the most three-chair turns. The winner will gain “a special advantage in the next round” — a Super Steal, which allows them to override other coaches’ wishes to have an artist on their team.

The Knockouts round will feature two performers per judge who were on their teams in previous seasons. The returning artists are Girl Named Tom (Season 21) and Jake Hoot (Season 17) for Team Kelly, Maelyn Jarmon (Season 16) and Renzo (Season 27) for Team John, and Javier Colon (Season 1) and Jordan Smith (Season 9) for Team Adam.

Former coach, CeeLo Green, will pick the winner of the all-star knockouts competition.

The show will conclude with a Top 9 semifinal and a Top 4 finale, where “a new voting block comprised of super fans and past VOICE artists will be involved.”

The coach with the most wins in the sing-offs will get a second finalist in the finale.

Season 28’s winner was 20-year-old college student Aiden Ross, who was on Niall Horan’s team. Since his December win, he’s already released a single, “Love Her Anyway.”

“Niall has been in my corner throughout this whole process,” Ross said in December. “It’s less about reaching out and being like, ‘Hey, what are you going to do,’ and more so a relationship thing. He’s been like a mentor and a big brother to me. And I’m really excited for our future together. You will definitely see more of me and Niall together in the future, I can tell you that.”

We can’t wait for THE VOICE Season 29!
