Season 19 of HEARTLAND will finally premiere on UPtv on March 19 at 8 p.m. ET.

In the new season, the Bartlett-Fleming family risks “everything to keep Heartland and those they love out of harm’s way,” the official logline reads. “Amy strikes a delicate balance between her commitment to a new relationship and always putting her daughter first. However, when her reputation as a horse trainer is called into question, she’s caught off guard, and Amy must fight to save her good name.”

In the meantime, Lou tries to prioritize her family over work — not for the first time.

“When a new adversary threatens the ranch, Lou is forced to make difficult choices. Jack is the steadfast rancher he’s always been, but his patience is tested after he hires an unlikely new ranch hand,’ the logline continues. “And, when outside forces jeopardize Heartland, Amy, Jack, Lou and the rest of the family must come together to build a stronger foundation for the future, each holding fast to their values in the face of it all. Heartland strong.”

The long-running Canadian series is based on Lauren Brooke’s Heartland novels, TV Line noted.

The season first premiered in Canada on Oct. 5. UP Faith & Family streamed the show shortly after.

“HEARTLAND fans in the U.S. have long asked for a shorter wait after the Canadian debut, and we’ve been working diligently behind the scenes to make that a reality. We’re excited to bring new episodes to our subscribers just a few weeks after they first air in Canada,” said Philip Manwaring, head of streaming, UP Entertainment, in October.

Previous seasons have had to wait nearly an entire year to be broadcast via U.S. cable, so five months isn’t too bad, considering.

Season 18’s finale saw Amy accepting a ride from Nathan, an old flame, which leads to a confession of love — and a kiss. Meanwhile, Lou was recovering from a scary bison accident and realizing her disagreements with Pryce Beef and Nathan were clouding her judgement, Up Faith & Family wrote.

Season 18, which aired on Netflix, made it into Netflix’s Top 10 list last year, Collider reported. The HEARTLAND series has not been cancelled or renewed as of yet. But there is a rumor that Season 20 will be the final season in the series, according to Prime Timer.

Seasons 1 through 18 are currently available on UP Faith & Family. New subscribers currently get a seven-day free trial and a monthly plan that costs $5.99 when the trial ends, Prime Timer reported.
