Tim Tebow hopes that his new book Look Again will inspire readers not only to see themselves through a new lens of value but also to ascribe this value to everyone around them as well.

“My hope and prayer is that is will be one of the most encouraging things that people will ever pick up and read, but then I also hope it will be one of the most challenging things people pick up and read,” Tebow told FOX AND FRIENDS. “Because, when they read it, I pray that they will really look at themselves again through the lenses of the cross, through the lenses of the God of this universe and how He created them in His image on purpose and for a purpose; in love, by love and for love. And that they would truly recognize their worth and their true value.”

“But then something happens when we really recognize our worth and value, then we see other people through that same lens and now that’s going to challenge us,” he continued. “When I see God’s royalty in rubble that are hurting, it’s going to cause me to do something. If I really value something, then I’m going to treat it as valuable.”

Tebow has lived this message out for a long time through his Tim Tebow Foundation which fights to protect the world’s most vulnerable people. Oftentimes, these are people who have been discarded by society and told they are worthless, such as those living with disabilities or victims of human trafficking.

“One of the greatest calls on my life is to fight for people that can’t fight for themselves,” Tebow said early last year. “When I was 15 and in the jungles of the Philippines…I met a boy who was born with his feet on backwards. He was a throwaway to his village. But I knew that day he wasn’t a throwaway to God. I probably haven’t done it very well, but I’ve known that I was supposed to fight for boys and girls, men and women, hurting people all around the world that were viewed as less than. Because to God, nobody is.”

At the same time, Tebow also uses his platform to encourage his audience that they are valuable in the Lord’s eyes, and He will use them for an amazing purpose if they let Him.

“I believe every single one of us has been sent here for a reason. No matter if we feel equipped, or if we feel too young or too old. If you have breath, you have purpose, you have a mission,” Tebow said. “I encourage you to ask yourself, why do you think you’ve been sent? What mission are you on? How can you use the gifts, experiences, and resources God has given you to help love people and bring them a brighter day?”

Tebow’s new book now equips readers to live out this calling on a daily basis, not only seeing their inherent value, but also that value in others, completely changing how they live their lives. Tebow’s book Look Again is now available.
