Jelly Roll Celebrates Reaching ‘Unreal’ Career High

Jelly Roll’s song “Liar” has topped the Country Airplay charts for five weeks straight, a new record for the artist that feels unreal to him.
“This is truly incredible. I want to thank everyone on my production team, the label, and to everyone who has listened to ‘Liar’ and this entire Beautifully Broken record,” Jelly Roll told Billboard. “Y’all have changed my life. Ben, Ashley and Taylor, y’all are incredible — thank you for writing this one with me. Five weeks? This is just unreal.”
The new career high comes as Jelly Roll continues his rise to fame. Some of his most recent accomplishments include joining AMERICAN IDOL as the show’s first ever Artist in Residence, helping mentor contestants, while also serving as one of the headliners at Nashville’s first rodeo at the end of this month.
“As a Nashville native, this felt like a chance to be a part of a history-making event for this city,” Jelly Roll said at the beginning of March. “I have vivid memories when it was announced in Nashville that we were getting a hockey team with the Predators, or a football team with the Titans…and I watched Bridgestone Arena be built from the ground up. Headlining Music City Rodeo in my hometown as a part of the first rodeo brought to the town feels like the same type of milestone.”
At the same time, the singer has finally had a chance to catch his breath, as one of his goals this year is to spend more time with his family. He can now hang out with his wife and their kids at his 500-acre ranch that the couple purchased last year. With many animals, Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunny Xo, have a lot on their hands, but they might be looking to add even more to their plate, as Jelly Roll has already expressed interest in expanding his ranch.

Of course, faith also remains a major focus for Jelly Roll, who credits God for helping him turn his life around and find success after being a bad apple for decades. He continues to keep faith at the forefront of his career, whether it releasing faith-based music, or discussing his faith with his fans.
