UPDATE: God Miraculously Heals Viral Singer’s Broken Back: ‘Praise God’
Forrest Frank shared his live reaction to receiving a video from Tauren Wells, who had an audience of 5,000 all praying for him.
“Anything that God designs, the enemy seeks to destroy,” Well said in a recent sermon. “And I don’t think it’s a coincidence — whether you love these people’s music or not — that an artist like Forrest Frank, who’s about to go on probably a historic music tour, not just Christian tour, will be skateboarding in his driveway and break his back.”
“How many of y’all think that’s a coincidence? No, it’s an attack,” the singer said. “And it’s not just an attack on a person. It’s an attack on something that God is doing on the earth.”
Frank broke his back late last month while he was skateboarding with his toddler. He wasn’t wearing protective gear.
In his sermon, Wells said he wanted to lift Frank’s spirits by sending him a video of his audience of 5,000 in Ohio praying for him.
As Wells prayed with the audience, tears formed in Frank’s eyes as he prayed along with the video.
“Jesus, we pray right now that you would comfort Forrest in his body. Lord, we believe that no weapon formed against him will prosper. We believe that when the enemy comes in like a flood, that you will raise up a standard against him…”
After he heard the prayer, the singer shared that he was floored by and “very thankful” for that many people praying for him.
Frank shared in his caption of the video: “Nothing could have prepared me for that 😭 This was a wild display of love, leadership, humility, and honor @taurenwells. I didn’t know prayer worked over cell phone screens like that, but here i am overcome with the presence of Holy Spirit. I feel completely undeserving of an act like this, but i receive every bit of it. Thy will be done!!”

Despite that Frank is on complete bed rest, he’s still keeping his scheduled concert appearance at the Iowa State Fair on Aug. 7. He’s slated to join Lecrae on opening night, and it’s the first time a Christian concert has been sold out in the fair’s history, KCCI reported.
Though Frank’s been in a lot of pain and has been in bed for the past two weeks, he hasn’t stopped making music.
He made a song called “God’s Got My Back” and a more recent one about God giving him some lemons that he’s going to make the most of.
“Life gave me some lemons, but my Jesus, He be making lemonade…” the song goes.
Even though Frank is still recovering, his spirit is high, and he’s receiving a lot of encouragement.
