Michael Weatherly, Cote de Pablo to Host NCIS Rewatch Podcast

Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo of the upcoming show NCIS: TONY & ZIVA have announced a new podcast based on the franchise frontrunner NCIS.
The new podcast, titled “Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch,” will release a new episode each week on Spotify, starting on June 4.
Parade reported, “On the weekly NCIS podcast, the fan favorites will rewatch, reminisce and reveal more from the popular TV series. And they won’t be alone. Joining them are present and past cast members Sean Murray, Sasha Alexander, Eric Christian Olsen and Jon Cryer, to name a few of the guests that will be joining them to talk about their time on the series and the impact it has had on TV and pop culture.”
Weatherly posted a promo of the new podcast to Instagram to announce the news.
“Hi I’m Michael Weatherly,” he said. “And I’m Cote de Pablo,” de Pablo joined in. “We played agents Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David on NCIS, one of the world’s biggest shows,” Weatherly said. “And now we’re doing a rewatch podcast,” de Pablo announced. “Watch and listen every Tuesday on Spotify.”

Although Weatherly and de Pablo’s characters have been away from the NCIS universe for a while now, their new spin-off was recently announced.
“De Pablo and Weatherly are heading to Budapest this summer to begin filming Paramount+’s Europe-set NCIS: TONY & ZIVA series, which finds the title characters ‘trying to raise their tween daughter and save the world.’ John McNamara, whose past TV credits include co-creating PROFIT, FASTLANE and THE MAGICIANS, penned the spinoff’s premiere and will serve as showrunner,” TV Line reported.

Paramount+ has given NCIS fans much to be excited about as the platform recently ordered a new NCIS spinoff starring Michael Weatherly – Tony DiNozzo – and Cote de Pablo – Ziva David.
“We’ve been talking about this story for many years, and now, with John McNamara at the helm, we are ready,” Weatherly and de Pablo said in a joint statement about the show. “The world of Tony and Ziva (and daughter Tali) promises to be an action-packed roller coaster fueled by love, danger, tears and laughter.”
“We also wanted to acknowledge and thank the fans from around the world who supported the ‘TIVA’ movement for years,” the statement continued. “To this day, they say hello in grocery stores and on the street to tell us how much these characters mean to them and ask what Tony and Ziva are up to now.”
