Actor and former pro-wrestler Mr. T recently took to Twitter to defend his faith and biblical values.

Despite his fame, best known for his role as B. A. Baracus in the 1980s series THE A-TEAM, Mr. T said that he takes his faith seriously.

Mr. T revealed that his church asked him to preach on Oct. 9.

“Being Invited to Preach at My Own Church Next Sunday October 9. It’s A Great Honor and A Awesome Responsibility. Which I Don’t Take Lightly. God Willing, I’ll plan to do my very Best!” he wrote in a recent tweet.

“I know that my mother would be very proud, because I never let fame nor success stop me from being a bold Christian!” he continued in a separate post.

Mr. T also shared the gospel message with his followers and encouraged them to seek Christ. Although he is vocal about his faith, Mr. T also addressed accusations that his past discredits his current faith.

“While some are busy bringing up my past, I’ll be busy looking to my future, thanking God for His grace and His mercy. Because ‘If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature,'” Mr. T wrote. “I may be wrong, but I think Jesus said, ‘Let he that is among you, that is without sin, cast the first stone.'”

This isn’t the first time Mr. T has been open about his faith.

Mr. T shares a constant stream of Scripture references on his Twitter and reflects on how God’s word relates to today. Mr. T is vocal about his faith and does not shy away from calling others to seek peace and truth in Christ.

Recently, he offered this insight on the COVID-19 vaccine: “The vaccine works when it’s injected into our arm! The love of God works when you invite Him into your Heart!”

Mr. T, who coined his famous slogan “I pity the fool…,” surrendered his life to Christ while helping in the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in 2005.

“Back in the day, I had money, cars. I had achieved what I wanted to achieve and then everything really stopped,” Mr. T said in 2017 on DANCING WITH THE STARS.

“I called on God. I said, ‘God, give me strength to do your will.’ That’s when it really hit me: What’s really real? My faith in God, that was real, because only God could save me,” he added.
