Herbie the Love Bug lives again in HERBIE FULLY LOADED, the most wholesome, fun-friendly family movie this summer. It stars Lindsay Lohan as Maggie Peyton, the young daughter of a former NASCAR champion, played by Michael Keaton. A third-generation member of a legendary NASCAR family, Maggie has racing in her blood. Her overprotective father Ray, however, has forbidden her to do any racing. Maggie rescues Herbie from an angry junkyard owner. Ray figures Maggie’s not going to do any racing in an old 1963 Volkswagen, but he doesn’t know Herbie like we know Herbie. Maggie is soon trading racing challenges with conceited NASCAR champion Trip Murphy, played by Matt Dillon.

HERBIE FULLY LOADED is good family entertainment. It’s got plenty of laughs under the hood to keep its pistons pumping. The race car scenes are exciting and had the audience cheering at the preview MOVIEGUIDE® attended. Michael Keaton warmly plays a real-life NASCAR dad and Lindsay Lohan retains her crown as the Most Delightful Princess of the family movie genre. Despite a few light exclamatory profanities and some lying, HERBIE teaches positive values. It was loads of fun to see Herbie in action once more.

Herbie the Love Bug sports a brand new NASCAR look in HERBIE FULLY LOADED, one of the most wholesome, fun-friendly family movies this summer. Starring Lindsay Lohan and Michael Keaton, HERBIE is ready to zoom into the imaginations of children of all ages.

Miss Lohan plays Maggie Peyton, a college graduate bound for a sports journalism career in New York City. A third-generation member of a legendary NASCAR family, Maggie has racing in her blood. Her overprotective father Ray (Michael Keaton), however, has forbidden her to do any racing.

One day, Maggie rescues Herbie from an angry junkyard owner. Her father figures Maggie’s not going to do any racing in an old 1963 Volkswagen, but he doesn’t know Herbie like we know Herbie.
