The PIONEER WOMAN Ree Drummond’s oldest is expecting again, and let’s just say this grandma is thrilled.
“Here we go again!! Another little blessing coming in September 👼🤍 Thank you Lord for our growing family!” her daughter Alex Drummond wrote on social media.
“Ree Ree is just so happy. 🥹 Love you guys!! Wheee!!!” Ree wrote in the caption.
Ree’s younger daughter, Paige, 26, also commented, “YAYYYYY I’m so excited 🥰🥳”
Big sister Sofia turned 1 last year. Alex shared a montage of moments from her first year.
She wrote, “The most magical year of our lives. 🩷 Happy first birthday to our sweet Sofia! Forever our baby girl.”
Ree commented, “Sobbing!! Sofia, you have changed our lives for better and forever. Our little magnificent magical baby. ❤️🥹”

Before Sofia was born, Ree said she didn’t think she was ready to be a grandma. But now, she loves it more than anything.
“When your firstborn has a baby that looks exactly like she looked, you get to relive all the delicious feelings of first-time motherhood, but without the sleep deprivation, hormones, and confusion,” she said. “I didn’t think I was ready yet to cross over to the granny side of the street, but Lord in Heaven…I am loving it and I’m so grateful for this gift.”
Alex shared another post documenting the discovery of her second pregnancy.
“Finding out about you. 👼🥹 God is so good. Can’t wait to meet this little one!” she wrote in the caption.
“I really hope I’m pregnant,” said in the video. The next moment, she, her husband and their golden retriever were in the bathroom. “I don’t have a good feeling about it,” Alex said as she prepared to turn the test over.
“Let’s just see it!” her husband said.
When they revealed the test, they looked at each other with happy shock before giving each other kiss.
“We have two babies,” Alex said. “We’re gonna have two under two.”
“Let’s go!” her husband said.
She also showed footage of her ultrasound, which showed her tiny baby’s legs kicking.
Ree commented, “I’m a mess 😭😭😭”
Her fellow Food Network star, Aarti Sequiera, wrote, “Oh my gosh!!! The little kicking legs!!!! So happy for you.”
In January, Ree shared photos of herself and her husband with Sofia on their ranch.
“Pics from New Year’s Eve morning, when Sofia and her parents headed back to Dallas after a blissful ten days on the ranch! 😭” Ree wrote. “Ladd and I kinda got used to having her around! 😂 Love, Two People Who Didn’t Think They Were Ready To Be Grandparents Yet.”
Once Sofia’s little sibling comes around, they’ll blissfully have their hands full!
