Grandma and Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond teared up when her granddaughter — the most “magnificent magical” baby —turned one.
Drummond’s daughter, Alex, shared a montage of little Sofia Marie Scott’s first year of life on Dec. 18.
“The most magical year of our lives. 🩷 Happy first birthday to our sweet Sofia! Forever our baby girl,” Alex wrote in the caption.
Drummond commented, “Sobbing!! Sofia, you have changed our lives for better and forever. Our little magnificent magical baby. ❤️🥹”
This comes from the woman who earlier this year said she didn’t think she was ready to be a grandma.

Her other daughter, Paige, said, “Sweet sweet Sofia 🩷🩷🩷 I don’t know what life would be like without you!! We love you 🥹😘”
In March, Drummond said, “When your firstborn has a baby that looks exactly like she looked, you get to relive all the delicious feelings of first-time motherhood, but without the sleep deprivation, hormones, and confusion,” she wrote in a video of Sofia in March.
“I didn’t think I was ready yet to cross over to the granny side of the street, but Lord in Heaven… I am loving it and I’m so grateful for this gift,” she wrote.
On Dec. 14, Drummond shared an adorable video of Sofia in her stroller, who sported a smile when Drummond brought the camera close to her face.
“I can’t with this one,” Drummond captioned the clip.
In November, Drummond shared about 20 pictures from her trip to New York with her daughters, friends and Sofia. The baby laid back with a bottle in the hotel bed, looked out the window on the plane, played with Drummond’s glasses and happily sat in her stroller on a walk.
“My favorite moments from NYC last week. What a whirlwind of wonderful women. ❤️ Memories forever!! Thank you God for the girls in my life,” Drummond captioned it.
In October, Sofia visited her ranch, where they took lots of walks and visited the dogs and horses. Sofia listened to her grandma sing and crawled around on their big rug.
In another video, Drummond humorously and wildly danced around in an effort to entertain Sofia.
When Paige got married in May, Sofia dressed up in a little white dress and matching flower headband for a photo with grandma “ReeRee” and grandpa Ladd.
“Our little pookie princess,” Drummond captioned the photo.
Alex commented, “ReeRee & Papa!! 🩷🥰”
All in all, it’s safe to say Drummond is enjoying her life in Grandmaville.
