GUN HILL ROAD

What You Need To Know:

GUN HILL ROAD opens on Enrique, who returns home to his home in the Bronx after three years in prison. Enrique’s wife, Angela, is having an affair with another man. Enrique doesn’t blame her, but her promises to break off the affair prove to be harder than she first thought. Also, his teenage son, Michael, is struggling with his sexual identity, preferring to cross-dress and assume the personality of “Vanessa” than play baseball or hang out with his father. Enrique has to deal with these problems while working at his new job, keeping his parole officer happy, and avoiding the criminal friends and lifestyle that put him into prison in the first place.

GUN HILL ROAD is a perverse homosexual indoctrination movie. It’s been acclaimed by godless leftists. Naturally, because of its politically correct, left-wing, homosexual worldview and Non-Christian values, it also contains extreme foul language, sex and nudity. This shows again that left-wing, pro-homosexual filmmakers like those behind GUN HILL ROAD aren’t content merely to promote their immoral worldviews. They also want to destroy all sense of decency, decorum and taste with the most outrageous, explicit, obscene R-rated content.

More Detail:

GUN HILL ROAD is a perverse, homosexual indoctrination movie that blatantly violates the ethical lines of teenage sexuality. It tells the story of an ex-con who returns home after three years in prison to find his 17-year-old son is a cross-dressing transsexual actively pursuing an immoral, promiscuous lifestyle.

After three years in the state penitentiary, Enrique returns home to find that life in his home in the Bronx has definitely changed. His wife, Angela, has been having an affair with another man. Enrique doesn’t blame her, though. In his words, she “did what she had to do” while he was locked up. Even though she promises to cut it off now that Enrique is back home, her emotional ties with her lover prove to be harder to sever than she first thought.

Also, Enrique’s teenage son, Michael, is struggling with his sexual identity, preferring to cross-dress and assume the personality of “Vanessa” rather than playing baseball and hanging out with his dad. Enrique emotionally struggles with Michael’s lifestyle. He’s repulsed by his son’s sexual behavior because of a sexual assault that happened to him while he was in prison.

Amid all these emotional hardships, Enrique must also balance his new job as well as keeping his parole officer happy while fighting to stay away from the friends and the lifestyle that put him into prison in the first place.

GUN HILL ROAD is a tragic family tale. While the movie has some excellent, artistic performances – especially Esai Morales as Enrique, the father torn between the life he once knew and the new reality he faces – the movie’s plot is off-putting and obscene. The movie twists the teenager-and-dad-don’t-see-eye-to-eye tale and adds a blatant indoctrination of homosexual and transsexual propaganda. Ultimately, Enrique is emotionally forced to accept his son’s transformation, if he wishes to keep his family together, which a tragic family situation, indeed.

The movie has an obscene amount of graphic, explicit sexual content (see content section) that mostly centers around teenage sexual behavior with depicted behavior that should be considered, at best, pedophilia. While the actor playing Michael is over 18, the story and behavior centers around a minor, which should be condemned by audiences and parents alike. Instead, the movie has garnered a lot of critical acclaim, mostly from liberal film festivals, for its strong portrayal of acceptance of homosexual and transsexual behavior.

Apparently, however, left-wing, pro-homosexual filmmakers like those behind GUN HILL ROAD aren’t content merely to promote their bizarre, lamebrain and loony immoral worldviews. They also want to destroy all sense of decency, decorum and taste with the most outrageous and explicit R-rated content.

No matter how unpopular the current liberal landscape of our culture may view it, the Bible clearly speaks against both the practice and acceptance of homosexual behavior and activity. Scripture writes, in both the Old and the New Testaments, of the dangers inherent in this type of promiscuous lifestyle. More and more, the mass media of entertainment is promoting abhorrent behavior; and more and more, the mass media of entertainment is painting those who do not accept this abhorrent behavior as bigots and hypocrites.

Media-wise Christians should not be fooled by the messages of our current culture, nor should they indulge in senseless propaganda like GUN HILL ROAD. It’s not bigoted or hypocritical to promote entertainment that uplifts family values and doesn’t degrade them, and that highlights strong father figures instead of destroying them.
