More Detail:

SUPERSPREADER is a documentary about Sean Feucht, a Christian worship leader who stepped up and led worship around the country during the COVID-19 Pandemic. SUPERSPREADER is an inspiring, well-crafted movie, with a strong Christian, biblical worldview about how people need the Gospel of Jesus Christ and about spreading this Gospel no matter the circumstances.

After losing an election for the United States House of Representatives for the Third Congressional District in California, Sean Feucht was trying to figure out what his next steps were. Very soon after, the world went into lockdown due to the spread of COVID-19. The world watched as local and state governments shut down schools, shut down businesses and even shut down churches.

At that time, Sean felt that God told him to keep praising, to worship and pray in the town centers throughout the USA. Sean and his wife, Kate, started going around the country with a movement called Let Us Worship. They would travel to different cities and worship outdoors with anyone who wanted to stop and do the same. What Sean and Kate saw was people were searching for the Good News and praying to God for protection during these times of fear and division.

Many of the news argued that the Let Us Worship movement was leading to more of a spread of COVID. When they felt called to take the movement to Seattle, their safety and the safety of the believers putting on the worship program was at risk. Will they be able to go into one of the darkest places in the country and bring the Gospel to those in need?

SUPERSPREADER tells a powerful story about the Church being a haven at a time of need. The movie shows exactly what the church should be doing. It asserts that the Church needs to be a place where people can go in times of need and receive the Good News of hope, joy, faith, peace, security, and so much more.

SUPERSPREADER is a wholesome movie, with a strong Christian worldview promoting liberty, but it deals with some heavy themes. It also shows violence during a time of unrest in the country. Overall, however, SUPERSPREADER shows how the Gospel of Jesus Christ can change people and bring joy in an unsettling time.
