LEGACY PEAK is an adventure family film about a man who wants to bond with his girlfriend’s two children before he proposes on Christmas Eve. The plane they’re traveling in is hit by a flock of birds, leaving him and the children stranded in the wild, forcing them to band together for survival. The film contains a very strong Christian worldview extolling fatherhood and faith. There is moderate jeopardy and some light language, so Movieguide® suggests LEGACY PEAK is appropriate for kids 10 and up.

SOUND OF FREEDOM is gripping and heartbreaking but hope-giving.

COURAGEOUS is an emotional movie made by the creators of FIREPROOF. When tragedy strikes a sheriff’s deputy, he questions his priorities in life. Leaning on his religion, he vows to be a better parent and inspires his fellow policemen to sign a contract to be stronger Christians and fathers. The film features the hit song “Courageous” by Casting Crowns, which calls for believers to have the courage to serve the Lord. Despite some action violence, COURAGEOUS is an uplifting film that will benefit young men.

THE FIGHT WITHIN

THE FIGHT WITHIN is a redemptive film about Mixed Martial Arts fighting. A young MMA fighter must shed his painful past to embrace a new life based on his new-found faith. He’s drawn back to the fighting ring when a rival threatens his Christian girlfriend, who led him to Christ. THE FIGHT WITHIN features an evangelistic worldview, but parents should know there is moderate jeopardy. Movieguide® advises caution for older children because of some of the martial arts and boxing violence.

It contains a robust Christian worldview and shines a light on forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Parents should know there is light violence and some adult material but nothing overtly salacious. FIREPROOF is appropriate for kids ages 12 and up.

RISEN
