Angus T. Jones – A Voice of Morality

Angus T. Jones – A Voice of Morality

Angus T. Jones, 19 year old star of TWO AND HALF MEN, the sexually explicit CBS sitcom, has come out against his own show. He calls the series “filth” and encourages viewers to stop watching it. Though he is the “half” in the series’ title, his statements and his stand for his Christian faith proves that he is a full man, perhaps more than the so-called adult characters that are portrayed on his show.

Jones says his faith in Jesus is why he has had enough of the series’ content. Jones says, “I’m on TWO AND A HALF MEN, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, please stop filling your head with filth.”

Jones continues, “People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you, you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch on television. It’s bad news.”

Statements like this will likely have fallout, and it’s not clear what this may do for the series that replaced Charlie Sheen with Ashton Kutcher in a very public firing 18 months ago. Jones has been on the series since it started in 2003 when he was 10 years old.
