More Detail:

Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) returns in the third installment of the SCARY MOVIE trilogy. “Great Trilogies Come in Threes” is what the poster says, and that about captures the depth of the comedy level of this movie.

Cindy works as a ditzy blonde reporter at a city TV station. She must find out why people are dying seven days after watching a particular video, why aliens are making crop circles in Tom Logan’s (Charlie Sheen) field, support her new boyfriend in his bid to be a top white rapper, and save the world.

The SCARY MOVIE trilogy of movies are spoofs of recent horror/sci-fi/slasher films; all weaved into one new goofy film. Having avoided seeing the first two SCARY MOVIES, I was not surprised when this one lived down to my expectations! Here is a list of the movies that were spoofed: MATRIX, MATRIX RELOADED, THE RING, LORD OF THE RINGS, 8 MILE, DARKNESS FALLS, AMERICAN IDOL (TV show), and SIXTH SENSE. Though you may have liked one of these other films, do not expect to be happy with this one.

Probably reaching for a new low in crude humor, SCARY MOVIE 3 pulls out all the nasty gags, re-invents new ones, and settles for “baser of two evils.” Without going into detail, SCARY MOVIE covers or includes sex, a pedophile priest, scatological humor, bestiality, every sex organ, vomit, urine, bottoms, cross dressing, mutilation of a corpse, punching old people, breasts, snot, jokes about a statue of Jesus, and an ongoing gag where one boy is run over twice, hit by a ceiling fan, and thrown out a window. There is an “undead” little girl, aliens, and mutilated people by the score. The trailer is funny, and unfortunately will mislead a lot of people into going to the movie.

Between the horror (spoofed or otherwise), the casual violence and gore, and the constant scenes referring to sex and scantily clad women, we cannot imagine a more damaging movie for its intended audience – teenagers.
