What You Need To Know:
ANOTHER SWEET CHRISTMAS is a wholesome, morally uplifting movie that’s pro-family and has brief references to the Birth of Jesus and God. The movie is reasonably engaging, but the jeopardy should have been stronger. For example, whenever there’s a problem with finishing the movie or with Sam’s plans to surprise Sophie with a real wedding ceremony, the problem’s too quickly solved. So, there’s not enough suspense in ANOTHER SWEET CHRISTMAS.

More Detail:
The movie begins with the fiancé, Sam, proposing to Candace’s character, Sophie. Cut to months later, and Sam is working on rewrites for the movie version of the script he wrote about his romance with Sophie. The movie will end with a wedding between them, even though Sam and Sophie haven’t even set a date for their own wedding.
Secretly, however, Sam is planning to surprise Sophie and marry her on the movie’s wedding set.
Complications ensue, however, when the male lead quits the project. He thought Sam’s cute little dog in the script, named Richard Gere, meant he would be working with the famous actor. When he found out that that was the dog’s name, he bolted.
They hire a new actor, but he turns out to be the ex-boyfriend of the actress playing Sophie, and they hate each other. The real Sophie and Sam help the actors to rediscover their love for each other.
Even so, to make matters worse, the director must leave when his wife suddenly has a baby weeks earlier than expected. Sam takes over the directing duties, but he has no experience and begins to feel overwhelmed.
