More Detail:

In the movie SILENT FALL, the peaceful town of Waterville is rocked by the mysterious bloody double murder of a prominent couple in the bedroom of their own home. The only eye witness is their nine-year-old autistic son, Tim. SILENT FALL stars Richard Dreyfuss as Dr. Jake Rainer, a psychiatrist formerly well-known for his work with autistic children. With no clues except little Tim standing in the middle of the bloody aftermath, unlocking the mystery is further complicated by Dr. Rainer’s hesitance to get involved — his unique talents have been put on hold since a young autistic boy in his care committed suicide several years previously.

As a mystery, SILENT FALL works well with an intriguing plot, interesting characters and good acting. However, the premise is weak. Objectionable content is limited to an abundance of foul language, particularly profanity, and the subject matter of brutal murder is adult fare. All things considered, SILENT FALL is a well made and intense mystery featuring an interesting twist involving an autistic child.
