More Detail:

REBUILDING is a moving drama about how one man rediscovers the power of community after losing everything in a wildfire, while learning the true value of what the natural disaster left him.

The movie opens by introducing Dusty, a rancher who’s still reeling from the devastating loss of his home and ranch after a wildfire. He moves into FEMA temporary housing, joining a small group of others at a remote trailer park, and struggles with what to do next.

With no work to keep him busy, Dusty begins spending a lot of time with his daughter, Callie Rose, as well as his ex-wife, Ruby, and her mother, Bess. Despite being resistant to getting to know his new neighbors, Dusty also begins to spend time with the other residents of the trailer park.

The trailer community becomes close, eating meals together and helping each other with home repairs. Despite himself, Dusty becomes friends with the other residents. He also grows closer to his daughter but worries what he will do with the rest of his life.

When Dusty must find a new place to live, a job offer on a Montana ranch seems perfect. However, is he willing to leave behind his family and newfound friends?
