Marvel and Disney sued over ‘Iron Man’ armor for copyright infringement

Two comic book artists are suing Disney and Marvel, claiming that the “Iron Man” suit was lifted from their designs.

The lawsuit was filed in Massachusetts federal court on Tuesday. The pair claim that the suit worn in the “Iron Man” movies infringes on their comic book series “Radix”

The brothers were hired by Marvel one year after creating their “Radix” series of comic books.

The complaint’s main point is that the original “Iron Man” of comic fame usually wore a spandex like suit with minimal armor, whereas the “Iron Man” movies contain a more complex suit with metal and flying capabilities.
