This is What Some of Hollywood’s Biggest Stars Are Making

A new report of Variety reveals that the number of actors and actresses who can demand over $20 million dollars for a movie role is becoming less and less. Studios aren’t able to bank on a major celebrity guaranteeing a profit like they were in the past, part in due to the popularity of franchise movies which rely more on CGI spectacle rather than star-power.

Variety notes that some actors are requiring extra money to promote their movies on their social media platforms. For example, Dwayne Johnson, who has one of the strongest followings on Instagram with 103 million followers included a $1 Million fee to promote his most recent movie RAMPAGE to his followers.
