
Dolly Parton to Release ‘Visual Memoir’ About Her Songs and Life

Dolly Parton will release a “visual memoir” this November about her songs and life.
“Chronicle is proud to announce @DollyParton’s new book Songteller, My Life In Lyrics. A landmark celebration of the American icon which will be published November 17th,” said Chronicle on Instagram.
“A song-teller is what I am,” declared the Joelene singer in the video.
Chronicle continued, “Both a visual memoir and annotated songbook, Dolly Parton, Songteller is a candid, intimate look at Dolly’s enduring career as a songwriter, musician, and country legend. The deluxe volume will explore her remarkable life and career through 175 of her best-loved songs.”
Songteller will showcase throwback photos of the singer and even snapshots of the lyrics.
In addition to her new book, Parton had a great success in 2019 with her Netflix series DOLLY PARTON’S HEARTSTRINGS.
HEARTSTRINGS: These Old Bones won the Faith & Freedom Award for TV at the 2020 Movieguide® Awards.
Parton told Movieguide®’s Evy Baehr Carroll, “I’ve always thought my songs would make good movies.” Parton added, “My faith is my rod and my shield.”
In 2016, DOLLY PARTON’S COAT OF MANY COLORS won the Epiphany Prize for Inspiring Television Program at the Movieguide® Awards.
