INSTANT DREAM HOME: Episode 1.2: “Schoolhouse Rock” follows a homeschool family of two parents with five children who are pastors of a church and need more space and organization to their house, and that’s where INSTANT DREAM HOME team comes in unexpectedly. INSTANT DREAM HOME: “Schoolhouse Rock” is a delightful episode with a strong Christian worldview showing a family that prays together and serves the people at their church.

The Davis family is a close-knit family of five children and two parents, Sarah and Eric. The parents are the children’s pastor at their church. They’ve also decided to homeschool their children in order to be with them more.

Their house is in need of some repair and organization. So, Sarah’s mother has decided to submit them for an INSTANT DREAM HOME makeover, without them even knowing. Sarah and Eric think they’re just taking the children to Sarah’s brother’s house to swim and spend the day. During that short time period, about 250 men and woman come to repair their house.

Besides the challenge of all the repairs needed, the house needs more space as well. So, the team decides to prebuild them a schoolhouse to put in the backyard and to add a room to their house. The challenge is the property’s steep driveway and placing the prebuild in the backyard.

Will the team be able to do all the repairs, fix the landscaping, add a schoolhouse, paint, and more in the time they have?

Episode Two of INSTANT DREAM HOME is a very entertaining episode. The episode has lots of jeopardy as the clock is ticking, and the team must accomplish all their goals in the allotted time. The episode also has some heartwarming parts to it. The family in the episode is shown to be a loving family that’s known to give and serve others above themselves.
