‘That’s A Wrap!’: Erin Napier Celebrates End Of HOME TOWN Season 7

By Movieguide® Contributor

HGTV star Erin Napier is celebrating the end of production on HOME TOWN’s seventh season.

“That’s a wrap on 110 episodes!” she captioned an Instagram post. “7 seasons of #HGTVHomeTown seems impossible. On the last day of filming a season, we have the Laurel legend for lunch: Vic’s. Love this crew and this show, about pretty houses to some, a ministry of community to me and @scotsman.co. Thank y’all for watching when part 2 of season 7 starts airing soon!”

She and husband Ben Napier might have just wrapped production on Season 7, but fans of HOME TOWN, never fear!

“BREAKING NEWS: #HGTVHomeTownhas been renewed for Season 8!” an Instagram post from HGTV reads.

Ben and Erin Napier teased fans with a short clip from the upcoming second installment of HOME TOWN’s seventh season.

“We can’t show you just yet what they’re working on, but we can assure you that you’re going to love this next season of #HGTVHomeTown!” the caption read

When the cameras aren’t rolling, the couple are still very busy.

Erin recently published “Heirloom Rooms,” her latest home decor book.

“This book is not standard home design fare. It is tender and about raising a family and the rooms where that happens,” Napier said of the book. “It celebrates imperfection and change and individuality, and it never tells you how you should do that. I hope you see yourselves in these essays and photos.”

Movieguide® previously reported on “Heirloom Rooms”:

HGTV’s Erin Napier recently opened up about the inspiration behind her latest book, “Heirloom Rooms.”

“I feel like there’s a lot of home design books that feel just unattainable,” the HOME TOWN star said during an episode of Southern Living’s “Biscuits and Jam” podcast. “I don’t care about seeing pictures of things that are perfect. I’m way more interested in the realness of how we live in our houses.”

Napier elaborated on her desire to celebrate real life in an interview with ABC.

“I found that I was scrolling really quickly through pictures on social media anytime I would see this perfectly styled, unlived-in interior, no matter how beautiful it was, no matter who designed it. I just didn’t care,” she said. “And so…I wanted to create a book that celebrates what our houses are really like when we live in them.”

Napier continued, “Our houses don’t have to look like they’re in a magazine to be loved and to be wonderful.”
