Pop singer and hip-hop musician Bodie shared how God miraculously healed his wife’s eardrum after a church service where the congregation prayed over her.

“I think a recent physical miracle…is my wife’s eardrum was completely blown out, infected and not working,” Bodie said. “And the doctors were like, ‘Oh, this is not good.’ And then, that week, we went to church, laid hands on it [and] instant healing, full hearing [came] back right away.”

“This girl at church was praying over me, and I couldn’t hear her ‘cause she was next to my bad ear,” Bodie’s wife, Royale Kulijan added. “And she was just praying, and praying, and then, immediately, I could start hearing her pray, and, so, I looked at her weird. I was like, ‘I hear you, Amy.’ And, so, it was just a crazy, just instant, immediately hearing and it was…fully recovered.”

Bodie came to fame after competing on THE VOICE. Though he did not win the show, he made it to the finale where he performed Brandon Lake’s “Gratitude.” Lake was so impressed by the performance that he asked Bodie to join him at a concert a few months later.

“Such a special night. BIG love to Brandon and his team for having me out 🖤. You’re an incredible leader and I look up to you greatly,” Bodie said after the performance.

Since winning the heart of many fans on THE VOICE, Bodie has turned this momentum into a career, releasing multiple EPs and continuing to perform across the country. He brings a new perspective into the Christian music industry, focusing on topics that are close to people’s hearts today, such as mental health issues.

“I got tired of seeing songs on the radio popup that kind of romanticize the idea of depression, romanticize the idea of let’s be sad together. I guess I kind of paid more attention after that or noticed the rising rate of suicide in young adults. It just started to anger me in a way that I can’t really explain,” Bodie previously explained.

“I understand that it’s not just an easy switch to flip off or flip on,” he continued. “Just like a regular breakup, it’s painful and it takes time to heal. Maybe your journey doesn’t look exactly like mine, but for me, it wasn’t until I connected with God that and realized where true joy and true freedom came from.”
