By Movieguide® Contributor

THE VOICE season 22 finalist Bodie Kuljian moved the judges to tears with his performance of Brandon Lake’s worship song “Gratitude” and has since performed the hit worship song with Lake.

Bodie sang Lake’s worship song as his final performance on THE VOICE. Since then, Lake reached out to Bodie, and the pair performed “Gratitude” together on Lake’s tour at the YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

“A couple of months ago, I sang ‘Gratitude’ by Brandon Lake on the finale of THE VOICE.’” Bodie said at the beginning a recent Instagram video. “I didn’t think anything could top that, but then I got a text.”

Bodie included a screenshot of his conversation with Lake.

“‘You should definitely come to my LA show and pop up there with me for ‘Gratitude,’” Lake said.

Bodie replied, “So down dude! LMK when and where.”

The video continued, showing Lake introducing Bodie as a “very special friend” at the concert. The end of the video showed the pair leading the song together.

So, I throw up my hands and praise you again and again,” Bodie sang as Lake played guitar.

“Such a special night. BIG love to Brandon and his team for having me out 🖤. You’re an incredible leader and I look up to you greatly,” Bodie added.

After the performance, Bodie shared a picture of him and Lake on stage in front of the crowd.

“Life is getting really cool,” Bodie captioned.

Bodie competed on Blake Shelton’s team on THE VOICE and made it to the final, where he came in second to Bryce Leatherwood. Now, Bodie is preparing to release his debut album.

The singer currently serves as the worship leader at Oceans Church in Irvine, California, for both of the campuses.
