Kathie Lee Gifford’s son Cody and his wife Erika just welcomed their first baby girl!
“Welcome to the world our sweet baby Faith,” Erika posted on Instagram. “It’s our greatest honor getting to love you, you heaven-sent girlie.”
Cody and Erika are also parents to sons Frank, 3, and Ford, 1.

In a post announcing her pregnancy, Erika wrote, “Gifford, party of cinco! Our little blessing on the way was prayed for, dreamed of, and is already so deeply loved. 20 weeks in and we can’t wait to meet the newest member of our crew.”
Gifford commented, “I am beyond filled with joy that this magnificent secret is finally out! So grateful to God for His faithfulness and loving kindness, and so thrilled that both of my children married, beautiful spouses, and are incredible loving, tender and tough parents, just like I had.”
Faith is the former TODAY host’s fifth grandchild and second granddaughter. Daughter Cassidy and her husband Ben Wierda share two children, son Finn, 2, and daughter Rosie, who was born earlier this summer.
“Beyond blessed by the birth of my first granddaughter,” Gifford posted on Instagram. “Rosie Mae you are so loved.”
In another post, she wrote, “Overjoyed to be able to spend several hours with my Tennessee babies! Growing up way too fast already…today’s is Rosie Mae’s one month birthday!”
Gifford often shares her joy at being a grandmother. In 2024, she told TODAY hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb, “It’s everything everybody says it is, it’s just joy.”
“It’s joy,” she continued. “It’s so joyful to see your children marry the people they love, truly love. And then build a family of their own and then share their families.”
When it comes to giving parenting advice, though, Gifford prefers to take a hands-off approach.
“I am the kind of parent that the minute my kids were adults, I stopped giving them advice,” she told Fox News. “I raised them right. I raised them to know right from wrong. I raised them to know that God is their best friend. I raised them to trust the Lord in all things. And so I said, ‘Whenever you guys want advice, if you really want it, I’d be happy to give it to you. But I’m not giving it unless you ask me.’ And I’ve stuck to that.”
Gifford is definitely enjoying the arrival of both of her granddaughters this summer!
