Kathie Lee Gifford celebrated the birth of her fourth grandchild last week!
The former TV host’s daughter Cassidy Gifford welcomed her second child, daughter Rosie Mae, with her husband Ben Wierda on June 3.
“I am overjoyed at the beautiful birth of my first granddaughter, Miss Rosie MAE,” Kathie Lee told TODAY. “She is beyond gorgeous just like her Mama and we are praising God for the birth and the health of both Mama and baby.”
In an announcement posted to Instagram, Cassidy said, “Rosie Mae Wierda! Born at 9:59am on 6/03/2025. You are a million prayers answered, Rosie girl. We love you so much.”
She then posted 1 Samuel 1:27, which says, “I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.”
People in the comment section congratulated the family on the new addition.
“HER NAME 😭🤍 I love it so much. Congratulations Cass & Ben! So happy for you guys!” one follower said. Another person added, “Rosie Mae!!! 🎀 sweet girl. What a beautiful blessing 💞 your dad handpicked that little Angel for you & your mama! Congrats.”
Cassidy and Ben are also parents to Finn, who was born in June 2023.
Kathie Lee’s other grandchildren include Frankie, 3, and Ford, 1, her son Cody and his wife Erika’s sons.
And the Gifford clan is still growing.

Erika recently announced that she is expecting baby No. 3 in a post to Instagram.
“Our little blessing on the way was prayed for, dreamed of, and is already so deeply loved. 20 weeks in and we can’t wait to meet the newest member of our crew,” she wrote.
Kathie Lee said in the comment section, “I am beyond filled with joy that this magnificent secret is finally out! So grateful to God for His faithfulness and loving kindness, and so thrilled that both of my children married, beautiful spouses, and are incredible loving, tender and tough parents, just like I had.”
Kathie Lee calls her grandkids “such blessings” and previously told TODAY about how much she loves being a mother and grandmother, reflecting on the importance of not rushing through childhood.
“You just want to stop time for a while and let them be innocent children,” she said. “It’s a scary world we live in today. So many times, we rush childhood, and it’s so important that we don’t. Anything you don’t get in your childhood, you spend the rest of your life trying to find it.”
As Gifford will soon become a grandmother of five, it’s a great reminder to us all to slow down and enjoy life’s precious moments.
