Sadie Robertson Huff has some advice for anyone looking for a way to make sense of the dark and difficult parts of the world.
“You love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength,” she said in a recent Instagram video. “When you love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, it’s going to change the way you live your life. It’s going to change the way you walk to people, the way you look at people…and then if you love your neighbor as yourself, you’re going to start changing the world because you’re going to love those people around you [and] it’s going to change their life.”
Huff also encouraged people to “go and make disciples.”
“You teach people about Jesus,” she explained. “You read this word and you don’t just read it and meditate on it, you let it flow out of you and you teach other people.”

The DUCK DYNASTY star recently spoke about how “overwhelming” things have been for her, both good and bad, and offered some advice for any followers who feel the same.
“It’s been very overwhelming! So much good and so much evil! So much darkness and so much light! Rock bottoms and revivals. All in two weeks. In the world and in our home,” Huff shared in an Instagram post. “My spirit is excited, but also exhausted. Does anyone else get that?”
She continued, “I want to say to everyone feeling like they are carrying the weight of the world and their home – sit with the Lord. The second I opened my bible yesterday, I just began to cry. I felt like a deer painting forth the water… my soul longed for God. I needed living water. Maybe you do too… life is hard sometimes, but God is good.”
Feelings of anxiety and depression are something Huff addressed in one of her latest projects, LO Worship’s Songs For The Anxious Heart album.
“I truly couldn’t be more proud of this team for the ways they have leaned in, been sensitive to the Spirit, and came out with a project that will speak to so many,” Huff wrote in an Instagram post. “I deeply believe our world NEEDS this. I’ve struggled with anxiety & known many friends who have as well – and seeing our world in such an anxious place…only God could’ve timed the album release this way!”
She concluded, “Thank you Jesus for the true honor and privilege we have to steward this project. We hope you love these songs.”
Huff’s recent words are a reminder that, for anyone feeling lost or uncertain, they can always find comfort in the word of God.
