Christmas is coming early this year!
Beginning this month, Christmas movies and shows from networks and streaming platforms like Great American Family, Hallmark and Disney+ will start releasing their Christmas films and programs. This year’s stacked lineup includes heartfelt romances and family comedies, a schedule packed with plenty of options for everyone.
Great American Family kicks off its fifth annual Great American Christmas on Oct. 11 with A WISCONSIN CHRISTMAS PIE debuting at 8 p.m. that day.
A CHRISTMAS PRAYER arrives at 8 p.m. on Oct. 18, followed by ONCE UPON A CHRISTMAS CROWN on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. The faith-based network has many more movies planned for November and December including HAVE WE MET THIS CHRISTMAS? which premiers Saturday, Dec. 13, starring Danica McKellar and Jesse Hutch.
“Just as familiar carols welcome the season each year, Great American Christmas has become a cherished tradition for our viewers,” said Bill Abbott, President & CEO, Great American Media. “As we celebrate year five, we honor the stars and fans whose passion for faith and family-rooted storytelling makes Great American Christmas unlike any other holiday offering” Abbott concluded.
Hallmark’s November lineup features:
- CHRISTMAS ON DUTY (Nov. 1 at 8 p.m.)
- A NEWPORT CHRISTMAS (Nov. 2 at 8 p.m.)
- MISTLETOE MURDERS SEASON 2 (Nov. 7 at 8 p.m.)
- CHRISTMAS ABOVE THE CLOUDS (Nov. 8 at 8 p.m.)
- A KELLER CHRISTMAS VACATION (Nov. 9 at 8 p.m.)
- THREE WISEST MEN (Nov. 15 at 8 p.m.)
- TIDINGS FOR THE SEASON (Nov. 16 at 8 p.m.)
- HOLIDAY TOUCHDOWN: A BILLS LOVE STORY (Nov. 22 at 8 p.m.)
For the week of Thanksgiving, the network will air:
- MELT MY HEART THIS CHRISTMAS (Nov. 23 at 8 p.m.)
- WE MET IN DECEMBER (Nov. 27 at 8 p.m.)
- THE SNOW MUST GO ON (Nov. 28 at 6 p.m.)
- THE MORE THE MERRIER (Nov. 28 at 8 p.m.)
- AN ALPINE HOLIDAY (Nov. 29 at 6 p.m.)
- A GRAND OLE OPRY CHRISTMAS (Nov. 29 at 8 p.m.)
- THE CHRISTMAS CUP (Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.)
- CHRISTMAS AT THE CATNIP CAFÉ (Nov. 30 at 8 p.m.)
Disney + won’t begin its Christmas content until November with A VERY JONAS CHRISTMAS MOVIE, arriving on the streamer on Friday, Nov. 14.
The teaser for the upcoming film released on Sept. 5. In addition to the Jonas brothers, the film will also feature Randall Park, Billie Lourd, Laverne Cox, KJ Apa, Andrew Barth Feldman, Andrea Martin, the legendary Kenny G and Justin Tranter.
These networks will continue to air even more Christmas content for the month of December. Get your hot chocolate ready and look forward to a cozy holiday season of family-friendly content!
