Candace Cameron Bure is so excited for her upcoming Christmas time travel movie which she stars in alongside her daughter, Natasha.
“This was such a blessing to me as a mom. You know, my daughter’s been an actress for over 10 years; it’s what her career path has been, and she’s a wonderful actress, and I’ve been looking for a project really hoping that we could do something together, and I asked her if she would do this movie with me, and she said yes,” Bure told Movieguide®. “I know that probably sounds like an easy thing, like, of course, it’s your daughter, why wouldn’t you want to do a movie? But it’s not that easy.”

“She wants to forge her own path in her career,” the actress explained. “So there’s been a long time where she’s like, ‘Mom, I don’t want to do anything with you because I want my own career.’ And I fully understand it and respect it. But I developed this one with her in mind and I was like, ‘Lord, please, please, please, could you convince Natasha that she says yes to do this one with me.’”
The rest is history as Candace and Natasha have their movie, TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY, coming out Nov. 15. In the movie, Candace’s character gets sent back in time where she connects with her grandmother – played be Natasha – who is just starting up a business.
The movie is a part of Great American Family’s Great American Christmas, a months-long celebration of the Christmas season and everything that makes that time of the year so special. This year’s celebration looks to be the most exciting one yet as the event kicked off on Oct. 9 and will run through the beginning of the new year.

It is fun to see the mother-daughter duo work together on a project as Great American Christmas fans begin to get into the Christmas spirit through the network’s celebration of the most special time of the year.
