Actor Timotheé Chalamet and comedian Druski broke out into gospel singer Kirk Franklin’s song “Something About the Name Jesus” on Druski’s YouTube series, “Coulda Been Records.”

The “Coulda Been Records” series is a fake label built on “chaotic auditions and unserious energy,” per Relevant Magazine.

In between auditions, Chalamet and Druski began singing “Something About the Name Jesus.” Though pitchy, they sang:

There is something about the name Jesus
Something about the name Jesus.
It is the sweetest name I know
Oh how I love the name Jesus, Oh how I love the name Jesus

It is the sweetest name I know.

Chalamet hopped on Druski’s show to promote his new movie, MARTY SUPREME, which comes out next month.

“Set in 1950s Manhattan, MARTY SUPREME follows a fast-talking, ping-pong hotshot named Marty Mauser (Chalamet), who is dead set on jetting to Tokyo to compete in the global championships. But first, he needs to scrounge up money and get sponsors, which lands him in a series of violent, get-rich-fast schemes,” a synopsis reads.

Amid promoting the movie, he spoke about his hope of being a father someday, pointing to DUNE director Denis Villeneuve as an example.

Chalamet described Villeneuve as a “total master of his craft and a great family man.”

“You don’t have to be selfish to be great, no. And I know, because I’ve worked with directors who are incredible and who are incredibly present in their family life. Even Denis, whom I’m working with right now. I’m just amazed by him. It was his birthday two days ago, and one of his kids flew themselves out as a surprise, and he’s hugging him, and he’s weeping on set, and people are taking videos,” the DUNE star said in an interview with Vogue.

Chalamet understands that not everyone is blessed with the opportunity to have kids, but he believes that “procreation is the reason we’re here.”

“That could be on the radar,” he said about having kids.

As his career continues to boom, though, Chalamet wants to ensure his success doesn’t mess him up.

“Success and fame can mess with your head,” he said. “But if you’re in a position like I’m in – where there’s an unusual amount of eyes or attention, or positive or negative affirmation – it’s all the more reason to be really sure-footed. Anybody in their life should feel strong in their foundation and who they are.”

Though Chalamet doesn’t seem to have a faith, rooting his life in Christ certainly would give him the foundation he’s looking for.
