49ers’ QB Brock Purdy Saves Woman From Coyote Attack

San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback Brock Purdy saves games and saves lives.
Purdy joined THE PAT MCAFEE SHOW, where he described how he saved a woman from a coyote attack.
“We’re shooting this commercial on a hill on the outside of the city,” the quarterback said. “I see this thing trotting by that has a big tail. I was like, ‘That looks like a mini wolf.’ No one else was gonna scream, so I screamed, ‘Yo, there’s a coyote!’ That thing went running off. It could’ve been an ugly day on the shoot, but we saved her.”

The woman turned out to be Sara Donchey, a CBS News Bay Area news anchor.
“I was walking my dog when this happened,” Donchey said when she shared her side of the story back in February. “I was watching from Bernal Heights Park when I suddenly heard Brock scream, ‘Coyote!’ I turned around and saw the biggest coyote I’ve ever seen sneaking up behind me and my dog…When I walked down the hill, one of the film crew guys said, ‘Hey, Brock Purdy saved your life.’ Not exactly, but it’s a good story to tell next season.”
Purdy was on set shooting a John Deere commercial when the incident happened.
The commercial launched the “company’s first-ever Chief Tractor Officer (CTO)—a witty and charismatic content creator ready to help the iconic American brand celebrate farmers, contractors, groundskeepers, and brand fans.”

“Best day of our lives? I get to call my best friend my HUSBAND for forever and ever!!!!” Jenna posted on Instagram.
“I love you Mrs. Purdy❤️,” the quarterback commented.
Per CBN News, “The couple said their marriage vows before 350 guests, just seven months after they became engaged in south Florida and almost a month after the San Francisco 49ers played the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2024 Super Bowl.”
“My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!” Brock posted after proposing last July.
Jenna responded, “WE GET TO DO LIFE TOGETHER…FOREVER! Brock Purdy – I love everything about you & your heart for Jesus more than any words can say.”
