Alexa PenaVega is sharing the vision God sent her to remind her the importance of being “rooted” in her relationship with Him.

“Okay, I have to tell you something,” she said during an appearance on Elizabeth Evans’ podcast. “God gave me a very clear vision for our family, but I don’t feel like this vision was only supposed to be held for me to not share with people. He’s like, ‘You’re on a platform,’ and it almost looked like a cartoon platform on springs, and it was like being held down by rope, but like the second those ropes are cut, that platform’s going to, like, shoot up in the air and go skyrocketing.”

PenaVega shared God’s message: “You need to get deeply rooted with Me because it’s going.”

“And it was such a wild thing to experience,” she continued. “But we’re watching all these doors fly [open] that had been so closed on us for years are just now happening for our family.”

PenaVega said, “Because that vision was so clear…I want to be rooted in Him. I can’t make good decisions without Him. I can’t be a good mom without Him, and I can’t be at peace without Him.”

PenaVega recently opened up about her family’s grief journey almost a year after the stillbirth of her daughter, Indy.

“She was so beautiful,” the actress told E! News. “She was a chunky little girl, looked just like Carlos [PenaVega’s husband].”

PenaVega added, “We would cry and we hurt and we grieved, but we also celebrated. We also rejoiced. I hug my kids that I have here on Earth a little tighter, but I still feel so connected to Indy. I know she’s up in Heaven. I know she’s dancing with Jesus and having the best time ever.”

“She just brought us so much closer together,” she said in an interview with Live Action. “She gave us so many new, fresh perspectives on life, really gave us a boldness and a fearlessness that I think otherwise, we felt a little bit more silenced, or a little bit more like, oh, well, we don’t want to ruffle feathers. So we would kind of stay a little bit more quiet.”

PenaVega continued, “And after Indy, it was almost like this awakening. She brought, like, the warrior side out of us. I can’t explain it. And then after experiencing her and God carrying me through that, I’m like, I don’t want to be quiet about this. I want everybody to know how much God showed up for us in this season. And I had no idea the impact that would have on other people.”
