Ben and Erin Napier Announce New HGTV Series HOME TOWN KICKSTART

By Movieguide® Staff

HGTV stars Ben and Erin Napier recently announced a new renovation show, HOME TOWN KICKSTART.

“This is so big,” Erin told PEOPLE. “HGTV is back helping more small towns.”

“For the first time ever six communities across America are getting a kickstart with the help of HGTV’s renovation and design experts,” Ben added.

The Christian duo garnered a loyal fanbase since their launch of HOME TOWN in 2016, and hope to continue to “ignite a wave of small-town passion” in this follow-up series.

“It’s pretty unexpected. This was not something that we thought about or dreamed of,” Ben told USA TODAY’s “Home” magazine last year.

According to USA Today, Ben and Erin’s renovation tour will take them to Buffalo, Wyoming; Cornwall, New York; Winslow, Arizona; LaGrange, Kentucky; Thomaston, Georgia; and Minden, Louisiana.

The new series will also feature cameos by other HGTV stars, such as Leslie Davis and Lyndsay Lamb of UNSELLABLE HOUSES; Joe Maza of HOME INSPECTOR JOE; Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent of THE NATE AND JEREMIAH HOME PROJECT; Ty Pennington of ROCK THE BLOCK; Jasmine Roth of HELP! I WRECKED MY HOUSE; Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt of 100 DAY DREAM HOME; Page Turner of FIX MY FLIP; Carmine Sabetella and Mike Pyle of INSIDE OUT; and Alison Victoria of WINDY CITY REHAB.

HOME TOWN KICKSTART debuts on April 24 at 8/7c, and will be available to stream on Discovery+ with new episodes every Sunday.

Ben and Erin share two children, daughters Helen and Mae, and for the Napiers, family comes first. Movieguide® previously reported:

Both are adamant that their kids always come before work – even though it took some time to adjust.

“We have had to get more help with [prioritizing family], honestly,” said Erin. “The only trick I’ve learned so far is that you’ve got to say what you need. And what I need is to be there for my kids.”

One of the biggest ways she and Ben are putting their family first? The two have a rule for themselves and their crew that they will work “normal” hours, from 8 to 5. After that, it’s family time.

“I really don’t want someone else to raise them. I want us to be 100 percent a part of their life,” said Erin.

Ben agreed: “If we are going to go on the road for [Home Town] Takeover, or if we’re going to do media stuff in New York, then we’re going to have to bring our family along with us. And so that’s how we do it. We don’t fold on our family time.”
