‘We Stand With You’: Celebs Donate and Volunteer Amid Devastating LA Wildfires

As Los Angeles grapples with the widespread devastation caused by days of wildfires, people around the world are joining in to lend a helping hand.
Corporations like Netflix, Comcast, Warner Bros. and the Walt Disney Co. have all pledged to give $15 million each to relief efforts, while Amazon and the NFL are giving $10 million and $5 million, respectively, per PEOPLE.

Paris Hilton, who lost her Malibu home in the fires, announced that she is launching an emergency fund for those affected by the fires, as well as pledging $100,000 to the fund.
“My heart is with everyone impacted by the devastating fires here in LA,” Hilton posted on Instagram. “While I’ve lost my Malibu home, my thoughts are with the countless families who have lost so much more — their homes, cherished keepsakes, the communities they loved, and their sense of stability.”
She shared that donations to the fund will “Provide cash assistance to families via emergency relief organization, provide short-term housing and hotel stays for families with little ones, delivering essentials and supplies to evacuation centers,” and “supporting local animal shelters working tirelessly to protect displaced pets.”
Other celebrities are volunteering in person. Hilton volunteered at the Pasadena Humane Society, while Jennifer Garner, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle all worked with World Central Kitchen to help distribute meals to first responders and evacuees.
Some celebs are even housing their displaced peers. THIS IS US star Mandy Moore and her family are staying with friend and actress Hilary Duff, while Jennie Garth praised ex-husband Peter Facinelli for sheltering her and her family.
