Check Out for These Angel Studio Projects Coming Next Month

Angel Studios has a busy month ahead with a theatrical release and some series, specials and movies coming to its app and website.
“The Angel Guild has always leaned into true stories that reflect deeper questions of life,” David Fischer, Director of Business Affairs and Acquisitions, said in a press release. “These excellent films share powerful stories of hope and redemption, and we are honored to give them new life on the Angel platforms.”
Founded in 2013, Angel Studios’ mission is to “amplify light.” Hopefully, these projects coming out next month will do just that.
Here’s the November schedule:
November 1 – NEW DRY BAR COMEDY SPECIAL “FUNNY FRIDAY”
Comedian Will C – My Life’s A Wreck, Streaming on Angel
Witness Will C’s incredible, inspirational and hilarious life story, from serving in three separate branches of the military to filming a music video with Kanye West.
November 5 – NEW TUTTLE TWINS EPISODE “TUTTLE TUESDAY”
S3E6 Soccer Fights & Religious Rights, Streaming on Angel
GUEST STARRING Adassa (Encanto) – The cul-de-sac kids are ready for a big soccer game, but when Kevin can’t play due to a religious holiday, Karinne votes to kick him off. With guidance from unexpected sources, the twins learn the value of religious freedom.
November 7 – TO END ALL WARS (New Angel Cut – 2001), Streaming on Angel
A true story about four Allied POWs who endure harsh treatment from their Japanese captors during World War II while being forced to build a railroad through the Burmese jungle. Ultimately they find true freedom by forgiving their enemies.
TO END ALL WARS stars Kiefer Sutherland (24, ARTICLE 99, A FEW GOOD MEN, THE VANISHING, PHONE BOOTH), Robert Carlyle (TRAINSPOTTING, THE FULL MONTY, THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, ERAGON, THE LEGEND OF BARNEY THOMSON. Kentucky-born and living the best of both worlds, Joe Deuce talks about his encounters with Amish police, real-time irony, and toilet paper personality tests.
November 15 – NEW DRY BAR COMEDY SPECIAL “FUNNY FRIDAY”
Comedian Chris Ruppe – A Matter of LIFE or DEAF, Streaming on Angel
Chris Ruppe grew up the child of deaf parents, drove a bus at sixteen, and is not a good pastor. See how it all connects in this one-of-a-kind comedy special.
November 21 – THE REDEMPTION OF HENRY MYERS (Not Rated – 2014), Streaming on Angel
Henry Myers faces a challenging life after a heist goes wrong, betrayals, and death. Upon finding kindness from a widow and her children, he questions his choices.
The film stars Drew Waters (TRUE DETECTIVE, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, BONES), Erin Bethea (FIREPROOF, FACING THE GIANTS), Beau Smith (EVERYBODY WANTS SOME!!, KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON), and Luce Rains (NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, 3:10 TO YUMA).
November 22 – BONHOEFFER: PASTOR. SPY. ASSASSIN, Releasing in Theaters
The untold story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. As the world teeters on the brink of annihilation, Bonhoeffer joins a deadly plot to assassinate Hitler, risking his faith and fate to save millions of Jews from genocide.
The film was written and directed by Todd Komarnicki (ELF, SULLY), and stars Jonas Dassler (GOLDEN GLOVE), August Diehl (INGLORIOUS BASTARDS, A HIDDEN LIFE), Moritz Bleibtreu (KNOCKIN’ ON HEAVEN’S DOOR, Nadine Heidenreich (THE WITCHER), David Jonsson (ALIEN ROMULUS), Clarke Peters (THE WIRE, THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE OF EBBING, MISSOURI), and Flula Borg (THE SUICIDE SQUAD).
November 22 – NEW DRY BAR COMEDY SPECIAL “FUNNY FRIDAY”
Comedian Chris Schlichting – Catch and Dress a Squirrel, Streaming on Angel
Chris Schlichting, an Iowan with every bone in his body still intact, comes with a few crucial warnings. Beware of birthday wishes, day raccoons, and the spelling on all hand-written love letters.
November 29 – NEW DRY BAR COMEDY SPECIAL “FUNNY FRIDAY”
Comedian John Hastings – Everything Goes Wrong, Streaming on Angel
Watch John Hastings navigate maybe the craziest show of his career, handling hecklers, hosts, and treacherously tight pants.

HOMESTEAD releases Dec. 20. It’s about an ex-Green Beret who begins a new job inside a compound, right on the verge of an apocalypse. As things worsen, humanity might turn on itself…or the good in people may shine through and save the day.
THE RIOT AND THE DANCE will premiere on Monday, Dec. 4, with episodes following each Monday in December. The series follows Dr. Gordon Wilson as he highlights God’s amazing animals worldwide.
Acquired movie, STANDING UP (2013), features two kids who become fast friends after they experience a summer camp prank. They run away on their own adventure, building a bond for life. Angel hasn’t announced when the movie will be available on its platforms.
Another acquired movie, SEVEN DAYS IN UTOPIA (2011) features a wannabe pro golfer who crashes into the city of Utopia, Texas. There, he gets a new perspective on life. The release date has not been announced.
Original movie BRAVE THE DARK comes out in theaters Jan. 24, 2025. In it, Mr. Deen finds that one of his students was thrown into jail after he was found living in a car. When he tries to bail the teen out, he discovers that the student is in a dark place. As Mr. Deen tries to save him, he risks losing everything. The movie stars British actor Jared Harris (THE TERROR, SHERLOCK HOLMES 1, 2 and 3).
