COCOMELON helps out parents of wiggly kids with new podcast “Wiggle to Wind Down.”
“At CoComelon, we know how real the bedtime struggle can be, especially during Daylight Savings,” Laura Castellanos, head of CoComelon brand marketing, said in a statement. “Partnering with Headspace gives families expert-backed tools to turn hectic evenings into calm, connected moments. Between the ‘Wiggle to Wind Down’ podcast and our new songs like ‘Cozy and Cuddly,’ we’re helping parents end the day feeling peaceful.”

“Wiggle to Wind Down” was created in partnership with the medical director at Headspace, pediatrician, child psychiatrist, and sleep expert Dr. Jon Kole and hosted by meditation teacher Dora Kamau.
“Our ‘Wiggle to Wind Down’ podcast series is special because it weaves mindful relaxation and imaginative storytelling into a purposeful routine that supports the emotional well-being of both kids and parents,” Dr. Kole said. “By combining CoComelon’s playful energy with Headspace’s research-backed approach, we’re helping little ones transition from wiggles to drifting off to sleep peacefully.”
Dr. Kole also spoke to Parents, saying, “What sets this podcast apart is its structure, which is scientifically grounded in the principles of regulation, rest, and sleep in early childhood, and delivered in a consistent, appealing format.”
Each 20-minute episode has a “three-step structure” — kids can wiggle and get their energy out, then stretch and bring mindfulness to their bodies. Lastly, they do some basic breathing exercises to “signal to the body and mind that it’s time to settle.”
While “Wiggle to Wind Down” was designed with kids in mind, Dr. Kole explained that parents can also take part in the process, putting their phones down and giving your child your “undivided, calm attention.”
“This shared moment of presence is the most important, and often most missed, component of a successful bedtime routine in a busy home,” he said.
This isn’t the only bedtime content CoComelon has recently put out. The kids’ media company recently premiered an animated music video for new song “I Love My Bed.”
“We designed ‘I Love My Bed’ as a true celebration of bedtime,” Joshua Embury, music director at Moonbug Entertainment, told Billboard Family. “It’s not a traditional wind-down track; it’s high energy and exciting, acting as a great way to frame bedtime as a fun and positive event. We hope this anthem helps make bedtime more exciting for kids.”
CoComelon’s new bedtime songs and podcasts are designed to make your family’s nighttime routine easier — whether that’s by helping your little ones see bedtime as a positive thing or by getting them in the right mindset to wind down.
