Danny Gokey Encourages Celebrating God’s Goodness: ‘Gave His Life for Us’

Christian singer and songwriter Danny Gokey recently took to Instagram to share an encouraging message with his followers.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this today but there is joy for you,” Gokey began. He then read a Bible verse.
“In Psalm 96 it says, ‘Sing a new song to the Lord. Let the whole earth sing to the Lord. Sing to the Lord, bless his name; proclaim his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations and his wondrous works among the people. For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised. Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice. Let the sea and all that fills it resound. Let the fields and everything in them celebrate.’”
Gokey encouraged his audience to celebrate the goodness of God.
“Listen, we have a reason to celebrate today because God gave his life for us. Let the whole world shout and sing because you might not feel joy, you may not feel peace, but because Jesus paid for it on the cross, it’s already in you,” he said. “You got to begin to let it out. Let heaven in you begin to come out through you into your life and into the lives of those around you.”
The K-LOVE Male Vocalist of the Year encouraged people to listen to his new song “Todo El Mundo,” which is Spanish for “everyone.”
“I believe it’s going to be just what you need to get the joy and the peace and everything else you need working in your life today. Hope that blesses you,” he concluded.
Gokey has many number-one songs that are uplifting and lead people to think about God.
His website states, “Danny has celebrated a series of #1s including his follow up album releases Hope In Front of Me, Rise, Haven’t Seen It Yet, and holiday albums, Christmas Is Here and The Greatest Gift. Spawning singles like ‘Hope In Front of Me,’ ‘Rise,’ ‘The Comeback,’ ‘Love God Love People,’ and RIAA Certified Gold singles ‘Tell Your Heart to Beat Again’ and ‘Haven’t Seen It Yet.’”
“We’re always going to be judged before we’re known,” he told Billboard of being a Christian singer, “but the goal is to reach beyond that and write music about hope and entertainment — that’s what I do.”

Christian artist Danny Gokey is reminding us to rely on the word of God in times of trouble.
“Are you struggling with addiction today? Are you struggling with anger, with unforgiveness, with frustration? Is life basically just not working out well for you? You know, there’s an easy remedy to fix that,” he said in a recent Instagram video.
Gokey cited Proverbs 18:20-21:
From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled;
with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied.The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.“Did you know that you can change your situation by simply starting to declare the word of God over your situation?” Gokey asked his followers. “The law of gravity still works, whether you believe it or not. Two plus two always equals four. And the Bible says the word of God always sets out and accomplishes what it was intended to do. You need to begin to rise up in faith and speak the word of God over your situation.”
