Farm owners and FIXER TO FABULOUS stars Dave and Jenny Marrs couldn’t be prouder of their 11-year-old after she pushed through bee stings to harvest honey.
“It started off foggy, but by about 8am was beautiful and sunny and a perfect day to harvest honey,” Dave shared in a July 11 Instagram post with photos of his farm’s honey-making process and his daughter, Charlotte, in a beekeeping suit. “Charlotte and I took care of the bees, and pulled just a little bit of their honey, because we like to leave them with as much as they need.”
A “little bit” still turned out to be an impressive 32 jars of honey.
“That girl is amazing!” the proud dad said of his daughter’s handiwork. “About halfway through harvesting, we got into the Russian bees and away from the Italian and they got angry.”
“At one point, Charlotte got stung right in the cheek. She didn’t panic, but just said Dad, it hurts a little bit, but let’s get finished up,” he said. “What a great day with my little girl.”
Jenny added in the comments that Charlotte got stung at least four times.
“She is such my mini me in so many ways and, yet, her momma would have panicked and screamed😂.” Jenny said, “She’s amazing and so brave and the animal whisperer for sure!”
Jenny shared about Charlotte’s bravery the day befor when she rode in a small plane.
“My brave girl. She’s been SO excited to go flying with Papa. Today’s the day!” Jenny said.
Jenny has a fear of flying but tries not to let her fear influence Charlotte.
“I always want her to be brave and embrace adventure with joy,” she said. “I was a mess on the ground watching. I have been praying nonstop.”
Charlotte and her grandpa flew to a nearby lake for breakfast and stopped at Dave’s job site before flying back.

“It was so much fun!” Charlotte said.
The five Marrs kids display great work ethic, just like their parents.
Jenny said last year, “These days, I often walk out to the shop and find the boys working on cutting boards for the store and I couldn’t be more proud of their work ethic and creativity.”
The Marrs are currently filming FIXER TO FABULOUS Season 7. There’s no official release date for the new season yet, but it will likely come out late this year or early next year.
