Sadie Robertson Huff has been having a few “off days,” but there’s One who lifts her up — and she wants to share Him with you.
“I’ve been looooving reading through Psalms lately! One verse that hit me says, ‘Though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.’ (Psalm 37:24),” she began in a recent Instagram post.
She observed that even the Bible talks about off days. To “cast headlong” means to “spiral down.”
“Recently, I had an off-day…which turned into an off two-days…then three” the DUCK DYNASTY star said. “But when I opened up Psalms, God met me right there and picked me up from that space.”
“He is SO faithful. His hand is always reaching out, ready to steady us and remind us that His mercies are new every single morning. 🤍”
Huff has recently been filming for her family’s new TV show, is pregnant and has been hosting her podcast. Her grandparents on her dad’s side recently had some serious health issues, and she’s likely dealing with day-to-day issues as they come.
“I’m running so fast in life right now with our schedule being as wild as it is, and when you run fast – falling happens,” she shared. “I’ve always been mortified of falling, but I’m leaning to fall humbly and receive the grace of a strong hand to pull me back up.”
“If you’re in a falling right now, reach out for His hand and dive into His living Word. Watch Him lift you up. I hope this encourages you today, friends! 🩷” she said.
HGTV star Jenny Marrs was grateful for Huff sharing.
She commented, “So so beautifully said. I can relate to your words and love, love, love: fall humbly. ❤️”
Huff recently shared a bundle of photos of scripture and her family. She captioned her post, “So many reasons to smile & give God thanks 🫶🏻 … here’s just a few 🩷.”
