A new faith-based drama from Wonder Project is on its way! Titled IT’S NOT LIKE THAT, the series will star Scott Foley, Erinn Hayes and J. R. Ramirez and will be available on Prime Video.

A description of the series reads, “a pastor who is a recently widowed dad of three. Lori (Erinn Hayes) is newly divorced with two teens. Their families once did everything together, but now Malcolm and Lori must navigate their newly minted singledom, parenthood and the complexities of Malcolm being a modern-day pastor. Is this the beginning of a love story? It’s not like that. Or is it?”

Foley, who will play a pastor and widow in the series, spoke with Parade about his new role.

“I seem to have a bit of a run going in my recent roles, as I believe the last three have been widowers,” he said. “I lost my mom at a young age, so I have a bit of firsthand knowledge, having watched my father and how he handled that specific aspect of his life at that time. I did a lot of research to understand the role of a minister. I read a few books, and actually reached out to one of the authors, Zack Eswine, a pastor and father himself.”

I’m going to copy and paste the words they sent to me here….”
