Jennifer Hudson Welcomes 5-Year-Old Preacher Back To Her Show

Jennifer Hudson recently welcomed 5-year-old “preacher” Luke Tillman back to her show to share some scripture with the audience.
“I hear you got a new scripture for us,” Hudson said during an episode of THE JENNIFER HUDSON SHOW.
Tillman replied, “Well, in the Bible, it starts with Genesis. It says, ‘In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.’ Well, verse 2 says…’The earth was formless and empty, and God said Let there be light and there was light.’ And let me tell you something, right there, that light was so good!”
This isn’t the first time Tillman, who is the son of a pastor, has appeared on Hudson’s show.
He went viral with a video of him “baptizing” one of his PAW PATROL toys.
“You want to know what I’m going to be when I grow up,” Tillman said to Hudson. “I’m gonna be a pastor and a Christian.”
Hudson asked his father, Ezra Tillman, how he felt about his son’s desire to become a pastor.
“It’s a blessing,” he said. “You know the pressure is always on PK’s (pastor’s kids) and that whole development. For him to decide to want to do it, and authentically want to do it, it’s a blessing.”
He added, “This year is 20 years of me preaching, and he preached to 20 million people in one week. I haven’t reached that in 20 years. I’m very happy about that.”
During his first appearance on Hudson’s show, Tillman “recited his favorite scripture passage John 3:16 and sang ‘Take Me to the Water’ with the Grammy Award-winning singer.”
Hudson told Tillman, “You have lifted us all up. You have an amazing calling on your life, so you keep doing what you’re doing, OK, and walking to God’s will. You gonna do that?”
“I’ll never forget about God,” Tillman replied.
