In a fun Instagram post, actor Chris Pratt shared that he cannot live without Jesus and his wife and kids — among a list of the other most important things in his life.

“Things I can’t live without: oxygen, organs, blood (my own), gravity, Jesus, food and water, NFL, my wife and kids, bass fishing, my glam team,” Pratt wrote on Instagram.

Making fun of the order he placed things in, Pratt’s wife, Katherine Schwarzeneggar responded, “Can’t wait for all the things you’re going to have to do to make up for the order of this list!”

Pratt and Schwarzeneggar share three kids together, Lyla, Eloise and Ford. Pratt also has a son, Jack, from a former marriage. Pratt is a strong advocate for family and Christian values — often finding himself in hot water because of it.

“I wanna thank God, I always do that when I’m up on a big platform in front of a bunch of young faces I say, ‘I love God, that’s my thing. I love Him, and you should too,” Pratt said in 2018 when receiving a Kids Choice Award.

The actor previously revealed that his relationship with the Lord became real in 2012 after he made a deal with God that came true after pleading with the Lord to save his son Jack, who was born seven weeks premature.

“[Jack] had all of these issues going on. I prayed hard to God. I was in a season of transition spiritually at that time and didn’t quite fully understand,” Chris Pratt explained. “I made a deal with God again: ‘I’m sorry, God, here I am again, asking for your grace again.’ And He really saved my son, and that was the moment [my faith] was cemented. My heart softened, and my faith hardened, that was the moment that I was like, ‘Moving forward, I’m going to gibe my platform to God.’”

Prior to that moment, though Pratt had been a Christian, his relationship with the Lord was purely transactional and lukewarm as he would only turn towards God every couple of years when he needed something from Him.

“The first time I walked up to the church altar and got on my knees and cried, I was a child. The next time I did it, I was still a child, I was 19. And then the next time I did it, I was in my 30s,” Pratt explained. “I’d make promises, but I didn’t keep them. I said, ‘God, save me in this moment, and I’ll give you my life.’ And then He did, and I was unburdened from the weight of my shame, my guilt and my sin. And then months later, maybe a year later, two years later, I’m off doing the same stuff that got me down the wrong path in the first place. The sinful, broken nature of humans was living in my heart.”

As he continues to be one of the biggest names in Hollywood, starring in some of the industry’s largest movies, it is amazing how Pratt remains rooted in the Lord and unashamed to share his Biblical and Christian values.
