New York Knicks star and “Follower of Christ” Josh Hart has helped propel his team to its second straight Eastern Conference Finals.
To get to this point, the Knicks faced the Philadelphia 76ers and came home with a 4-0 victory. In Game Four, the Knicks held a 43-24 lead and never looked back. The final score was 144-114.
The Knicks’ high scoring in that game came from a “record-setting 3-point barrage (25-of-44 for the game, 57%) — 25 tied the NBA postseason record for most threes in a game, 18 tied the postseason record for most threes in a half (first half), and 11 tied the postseason record for most threes in a quarter (first quarter),” according to Sports Spectrum.
Hart scored four of those 25 three-pointers and ended Game Four with 17 points and nine rebounds.
“No relief, no jubilation,” the athlete told ESPN after the game. “Just another step in the process…Here, it’s business as normal, and we got to make sure we’re locked in and focused.”
Aside from Hart’s play on the court, he aims to seek Christ in all he does.
“HE IS RISEN!” Hart posted on Easter while sporting a blue “Jesus Saves” hoodie.

Hart has revealed that Gospel music is his top genre, and he has “celebrated news of a Christian revival across the U.S. He’s also been seen wearing clothing that declares he’s a “Product of Christ” and he’s “Just Here To Give God Glory,” Sports Spectrum reported.

When the Knicks played the Atlanta Hawks in the first playoff series, Hart played two complete games back-to-back. When asked how he managed to do it, he revealed that he relied on Scripture.
“My Lord works in mysterious ways,” he said, per Michael Scotto on X. “… Today, I felt like I didn’t have it at all. The whole game I was reciting Isaiah 40:29. The weak, He renews strength. That was the biggest thing. He allows you to walk and not faint.”
